6 STEPS 2 STUNNING SKIN ! ! ! ! ! !

1. First of all, you must wash your face every day. I personally find soap to be inferior to facial cleansers. Soap has always dried out my skin, even the ones that claim not to.  I enjoy Chanel Gel Purete Anti Pollution Rinse Off Foaming Cleanser leaves you with squeaky clean skin without being left feeling dry or tight. The main ingredient, tulip tree, protects skin from absorbing pollutants and chemical nasties such as fumes and smoke, and works to balance and strengthen your skin's barrier to ward off toxins. It has a lovely fine texture with a cool cucumbery smell. But before that I always used the basic neutrogena oil free acne wash. Since everyone has different skin types, I can’t recommend just one cleanser. It’s best to look for something that will treat the problems you may have with your skin – excessive oiliness, blackheads, dry skin, acne, what have you. Try to develop a “regime” and find what works best for you.

2. Lotions are great for skin, they keep us moisturized and youthful looking. But did you know that if you use body lotion on your face, it can cause breakouts? It’s true, body lotions are thicker and can clog up your pores. Moisturizers for the face are lighter, often scentless, and sometimes have SPF content, which of course is also a benefit. Make sure to apply both body and facial lotions every day. I've come across a lot of artists, including myself that like Embryolisse Lait-Cre'me Concentre' for all skin types (Make up Forever / 8 E 12th Street in NYC carries it).

3. If you have a blackhead problem, Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips will help. These are little strips you can apply to your nose, forehead, and chin, all places on your face that are more porous. They penetrate your pores and lift out the dirt, leaving your pores clear. Yes indeed, this is a great product, but the directions must be followed thoroughly. They are not meant for sensitive skin, will not work on acne, and are not meant to be used more than once a week.
4. Drink more water. Oh, the benefits of drinking water are endless! It will make your skin tone more even, flush out toxins, and help with your circulation of blood flow, which helps prevent breakouts. Your body will thank you for it!
5. Vitamins A, C, and E are your skin and body’s best friends. Vitamin A helps with dry skin, and can treat acne and wrinkles when used in creams. Vitamin C, which can be found in delicious strawberries, helps rejuvenate your skin and can help to heal wounds. Vitamin E fights off free radicals, which cause damage such as wrinkles. These can be taken in supplements or found in a variety of healthy foods. (You should Google for a more detailed list!)
6. Try to get enough sleep. This is great for your entire body, but can also reduce the appearance of dark under eye circles. To treat my own eye bags, I like Yves Saint Laurent Top Secrets Flash Touch Wake-Up Eyecare

L.A.M.B. F/W 2012 Makeup

Look created by Maybelline NY Global Makeup Artist Charlotte Willer.

60s rock n roll makeup at L.A.M.B. Fall 2012

Face
To created a fresh, clean canvas, Charlottte applied Fit Me! Foundation with her fingers. Then she contoured the cheekbones with a deeper shade of Fit Me! Pressed Powder.

Eyes
Charlotte started by drawing a thick line along the lashline with Eye Studio Master Drama Cream Pencil in Sapphire Strength, adding a slight wing at the outer corner. Then she drew a second line in the crease to add playful edginess to the look. For an extra bold lash look, she applied Volumn’ Express The Falsies Flared Mascara in Very Black on top lashes, using the end of the wand to create thick, clump-like lashes. On the bottom, she used Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black short, quick brush strokes to create “painted-on” lashes.

Lips
To add a girlish element to this otherwise edgy look, Charlotte layered Color Sensational Lipcolor in Born With It and Nearly There to achieve the perfect light pink.

GUYS GUIDE TO THE SPRING 2012 MAKE UP BAG

Louis Vuitton Transparent Lockit $3,450
As the Dream Narrates in his single Make Up Bag No Relationship is perfect. As much as any couple aims to stay happy and respectful of each other, infractions and arguments are unavoidable. Although money shouldn't and cannot buy love it is not an economical statement but an appreciation of the finer things in life i.e., your hunny. So fellas if you get caught in the hot seat or put your foot in your mouth, put your hand in your wallet to say sorry for 2012 and show her how much she's worth to you (WARNING: Make Up Bags will cover minor misdeeds such as, lack of attention, mild flirting with other women, insensitive words, or drinking from the milk carton repeatedly. More extreme cases might require Cupid or vehicle/home Purchases).  Designer label bags are often a little steeper in price but luxury brands are made with the type of tender love & care you want your relationship to reflect. Easy Steps To Smoky!

When you think smoky, you instantly reach for black, but it can look severe. The most universally flattering tone is chocolate brown, rather than black- it's way sultrier and softer against all skin tones.

1. LINE Rim eyes with a soft kohl. Go as close to the lash roots as possible so that you don't see any gaps between the liner and lashes. Trying to draw a continuous line from the inside corner of lashes outwards can be tricky - the most foolproof technique is to sketch little strokes along the lash line, working your way from the outside in.

2.LAYER Blend a deep mink-brown shadow across the lids, up to the crease and lightly along lower lashes, too. Then sweep a bronze shadow from slightly beyond the outer corners to the middle of the lids - and layer with a copper tone from the center of the lids inwards.

3.BRIGHTEN Wash a shimmery gold shadow over the top of the lids to bring lightness to the eyes. And blend it all up into the crease for a washed and blended, rather than graphic, effect.

4.PLUMP Curl your lashes to emphasise them and then pile on black mascara top and bottom.

The Nude Lip
Barely there lips are sexy without screaming, "Look At Me!", but don't match them to your skin tone as a too-fleshy pout can be draining. The most flattering shade isn't pure beige look for peachy or pink undertones.
